“We enable people that shop online to see how a garment looks on them before they buy, and also get in real time personal size recommendation, which is the biggest friction currently in the online shopping experience,” explained Rinat Keinan, Co-founder and CEO of Pele AI.
Pele AI is an AI-powered virtual try-on and personalized size recommendation platform for clothing. Speaking to CTech at Calcalist’s AI Conference 2025, Keinan summarized the company’s offering as a generative AI startup. “We are basically a model aggregator,” she said.
Keinan positioned the opportunity within a trillion-dollar online retail market, where clothing still lags compared to other verticals due to low conversion rates and high cart abandonment. “When it comes to clothing… in the e-commerce landscape, we lack the emotional experience of visual visualization of what we see before we buy,” she noted.
One of the primary benefits for fashion merchants, Keinan added, is the potential to increase order values by upselling through what the company calls “vibe shopping,” where shoppers receive complementary item recommendations matched to their style. “We uplift new ways to shop… our AI capabilities analyze in real time your vibe… like a stylist, the best items that you can like to buy in a few seconds.”
Looking ahead, as e-commerce experiences become more frictionless while “vibe shopping” becomes more viable, Keinan described a future where traditional online browsing becomes obsolete. “We are eliminating search, scrolling, and navigation. It’s a very old world,” she said.
The company’s solution is already live with Mashbir and Kenneth Cole New York, where it has generated what she described as “unheard of” results: “we increased conversion rate up to 50% and we decreased cart abandonment to 10%.”
